Tennis became popular as a social game from it’s arrival in Australia in the late 1870’s and courts sprang up everywhere in community and private grounds.  The Folly’s old tennis court was built in the 1950’s and is still going strong, although it does look a little bit worse for wear.  Don’t worry you will still be able to whack the ball from one end to the other!  Try not to lose too many balls in the climbing jasmine.  You supply the energy and we supply the racquets and balls.  We even have a great little paved area complete with table and chairs for your fans.  Tea and Tennis anyone 640px-StateLibQld_1_292535_Tennis_group_in_the_Kilcoy_district,_ca._1903?
